Social Events
Welcome Reception
The welcome reception will be held on Monday, September 4, at 19:30 at ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics & Management, Universidade de Lisboa, located here. The main address is Rua do Quelhas, 6, 1200-781 Lisbon.
A cocktail will be served at Salão Nobre (Main Hall) of ISEG. The Main Hall is located at the Main Building (Ancient Convent) – 4th floor. Local directions will guide you to the right place.
How to get there
- Bus No. 727, from Saldanha stop, until Assembleia República stop (see schedule here) + 5min walk
- Bus No. 720, from Arco Cego stop until Estrela stop (see schedule here) + 10min walk
- Metro (yellow line), from Saldanha stop, until Rato stop (see map here) + Bus No. 727, from Rato stop, until Assembleia República stop (see schedule here) + 5min walk.
- Metro (green line) until Cais do Sodré and bus No. 706 (towards Est. Sta. Apolónia), until Assembleia República stop (see schedule here).
Tagus River Cruise
A boat cruise along the Tagus River, with the best views of Lisbon monuments is planned for Wednesday, September 6, with departure from Estação Fluvial Sul e Sueste, Av. Infante D. Henrique 1B, 1100-016 Lisboa, at Terreiro do Paço, pier nr 1.
The metro station is Terreiro do Paço (blue line).
The boats are Príncipe Perfeito and Príncipe do Tejo
1st departure: Príncipe Perfeito
2nd departure: Príncipe do Tejo
Schedule: from 16:50h until 17:20h, boarding time for both ships
Landing: Estação Fluvial de Belém, from 18:35h until 19:20h (near SUD Lisboa Restaurant, where the Conference dinner will take place).
Itinerary: Praça do Comércio / 25 de Abril bridge/ MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture, and Technology/ Museum of Electricity/ Monument to the Discoveries/ Tour of Belém / Estação Fluvial de Belém
The cruise will last approximately 2 hours.
Conference Dinner
The conference dinner will take place at SUD Lisboa on Wednesday, September 6, at 19.30.
Additional participants have an extra cost of 100€.
