Posters

PhD and MSc students, as well as early-career researchers, are encouraged to participate with a presentation in a poster format (see the conference topics in Minisymposia). All posters will be grouped thematically in organized Poster Sessions. A Special Award (sponsored by CIM) will be attributed to the author(s) of the Best Poster.

 

The proposal (no more than 100 words) should include:

  • the author(s) – with affiliation(s) and email address(es);
  • the title of the poster;
  • a brief abstract;
  • name(s) and affiliation(s) of supervisor(s).
  • Poster boards will accommodate A0 size vertical posters: height 1189 mm (46.8 inches), width 841 mm (33.1 inches). 
  • Each participant is responsible for placing and removing their own poster. Materials to hang posters are available at the Reception Desk.
  • The posters will be displayed the whole week (September 4-8)  in Hall 02, where the coffee breaks take place.
  • The presentations are planned for Wednesday, September 6, Thursday, September 7, and Friday, September 8, during the coffee breaks, from 10:30 to 11:00.
A condition to participate in the competition is the personal presentation of the poster and to be a PhD/MSc student or an early-career researcher. The winner will receive a special prize.  Moreover,  two honorable mentions will be awarded.  The award ceremony will take place on Friday, September 8, during the Closing Session of the conference.Offering popular women’s necklaces such as pendants, chokers and chain necklace.
