Posters

- About the Poster Sessions
PhD and MSc students, as well as early-career researchers, are encouraged to participate with a presentation in a poster format (see the conference topics in Minisymposia). All posters will be grouped thematically in organized Poster Sessions. A Special Award (sponsored by CIM) will be attributed to the author(s) of the Best Poster.
The proposal (no more than 100 words) should include:
- the author(s) – with affiliation(s) and email address(es);
- the title of the poster;
- a brief abstract;
- name(s) and affiliation(s) of supervisor(s).
- Poster Guidelines
- Poster boards will accommodate A0 size vertical posters: height 1189 mm (46.8 inches), width 841 mm (33.1 inches).
- Each participant is responsible for placing and removing their own poster. Materials to hang posters are available at the Reception Desk.
- The posters will be displayed the whole week (September 4-8) in Hall 02, where the coffee breaks take place.
- The presentations are planned for Wednesday, September 6, Thursday, September 7, and Friday, September 8, during the coffee breaks, from 10:30 to 11:00.
- Best Poster Competition
A condition to participate in the competition is the personal presentation of the poster and to be a PhD/MSc student or an early-career researcher.
The winner will receive a special prize. Moreover, two honorable mentions will be awarded. The award ceremony will take place on Friday, September 8, during the Closing Session of the conference.
